Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Fuel System Testing and Certification Services. 1. Contractor shall provide all labor, including travel and per diem, parts, supplies, materials, equipment, permits/licenses, and every other item of expense necessary to perform Fuel Storage/Dispensing System Testing and Certification for the Department of the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Northern Division locations. A. License/Certification Requirement: C-61/D-40 Service Station Equipment and Maintenance Contractor. B. International Code Council Certification for Underground Storage Tank System Operator. C. International Code Council Certification for Aboveground Storage Tank Installer/Retrofitter. Normal working hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding State holidays. Office will be closed if any holiday falls on or is observed on a weekday, unless otherwise stated. Contractor shall check-in and check-out with CHP on-site contact person or designee upon each service call to provide verification that service has been provided. Contractor shall provide all required testing and certifications of the fuel storage tank monitoring systems, vapor recovery systems, and product lines, or any other fueling components as required by the regulations mandated by Federal, State, Health, and Safety Code and each local agency i.e., County, City, and Air Pollution Control District. Contractor shall schedule required testing with each local agency and the individual CHP Area’s Auto Technician. Contractor shall provide a copy of the results to the Facilities Section Coordinator (FSC) in Sacramento and all local permitting agencies within thirty (30) days of testing.
