Specifications include, but are not limited to: The SEHP is seeking to partner with ASO vendors who demonstrate flexibility, knowledge, and ability to administer the SEHP programs. As a large public employer group, the SEHP has unique program needs and desires to work with vendors that are capable of customizing offerings when needed. As a plan with multiple agencies, payroll systems, and Non State Public employer groups, the selected Vendors will need to be able to demonstrate flexibility in providing services, be open to innovative program offerings and ideas; and be able to demonstrate problem-solving skills. The selected vendor will be expected to work in partnership with the other health plan vendors chosen by the SEHP. Vendors are deemed partners and are expected to share information and data with one another to achieve a cohesive member experience across all lines of business. This RFP is requesting proposals for providing administrative services for the medical portion of the SEHP program. The contract period will be 3-years with the option for renewal. Multiple year rate guarantees, or fee caps are preferred. Such guarantees or caps should be clearly outlined in your Cost Proposal Exhibit 2 of this RFP. The SEHP is requesting a minimum 24-month fee guarantee. Longer fee guarantee periods would be preferred. Medical Plans: There are currently four (4) health plan design options available to active employees. These include Plan A, Plan C, Plan J, and Plan N. Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas both administered all four (4) plans. All active employee plan options are self funded.
