Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Saco is soliciting bids for Precast Concrete Boat Ramp Planks. PLANKS A. Precast concrete boat ramp planks shall be of standard State of Maine design with cast v-groove surface, 6” thick x 1’-5” wide, (6) #3 galvanized rebar and (2) 0.5”x1.5” stainless steel connecting straps with 18” bolt spacing. Rebar shall conform to ASTM A615 grade 60. Concrete shall be air entrained for freezethaw resistance and attain 5,000 psi compressive strength at 28 days. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS A. The boat ramp to be paved with the precast concrete planks will be 28’ wide, which can be provided as (2) 10’ plus (1) 8’ long planks; or (1) 12’ plus (1) 10’ plus (1) 6’ long planks; or (1) 15’ plus (1) 12’ long planks. The ramp length of the precast planks with these width configurations shall be 78 planks.
