Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Request for Proposal is for augmenting Crew 905 on three (3) concurrent projects in the Reno Urban area as follows: Project NHP-STBG-395-2(045) on US 395 in Cold Springs consists of milling the existing surface and placing a new plantmix bituminous surface on the northbound and southbound lanes. This project has an estimated eighty (80) working days and a Notice to Proceed (NTP) is projected in March of 2023. Project NHP-0191(104) on US 395 from McCarran to Golden Valley, includes the construction of an auxiliary lane in the northbound and southbound directions, a new travel lane in the southbound direction, a new braided ramp at the Panther Valley Interchange, and pavement rehabilitation. This project has an estimated four hundred fifty (450) working days and a Notice to Proceed (NTP) is projected in March of 2023. Project SPI-580-1(038) on I-580 from Peckham to Mill, includes the removal of existing concrete pavement with dense grade plantmix reconstruction. This project has an estimated one hundred fifty (150) working days and a Notice to Proceed (NTP) is projected in March of 2023. The working days for each respective project include possible weather delays. The exact construction schedule and administrative staffing needs may fluctuate throughout each project duration and will be coordinated as necessary by the DEPARTMENT. Consultant personnel are expected to begin work approximately thirty (30) calendar days prior to the Notice to Proceed (NTP) date for initial setup of field office, lab trailer, and Public Information Officer (PIO) integration. All projects may not be under construction concurrently, although construction for each project is expected to be continuous for the duration. The SERVICE PROVIDER agrees to perform professional and technical engineering services to ensure that the construction of Projects NHP-STBG-395-2(045) on US 395, NHP-0191(104) on US 395, and SPI-580-1(038) on I-580, all in Washoe County, are accomplished in conformance with the plans and specifications. Consultant staff may be assigned to either project incorporated in this RFP under the direction of the Crew 905 Resident Engineer. The anticipated construction schedule for all projects is March of 2023 through November of 2024. The SERVICE PROVIDER shall provide one (1) Principal Engineer to act as Project Manager*. The Principal Engineer shall be limited to billing no more than eight (8) hours per month unless prior approval for additional hours is obtained from the DEPARTMENT.
