Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Door Replacement Services. Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) Victorville Area Office, the services described herein: furnish all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary to provide Door Replacement Services; . License Requirement/Certification: Contractor must possess a valid General B or C-28 California Contractor’s State License Board Specialty License. All work shall be performed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, unless other arrangements are approved by the CHP on-site contact. A. Contractor shall evaluate the doors and related components to determine the requirements for replacement. Door frames, hinges, closures, kick plates, hand plates, handles, keypads, etc. are to be inspected for reuse or replacement. B. Contractor will remove the existing doors and furnish and replace with new door (like for like). C. All fire rated doors are to be ninety (90) minutes resistance minimum and shall be properly labeled to meet all code requirements. D. Color to be determined by CHP. E. The anticipated term of this contract is thirty (30) days. F. Contractor shall ensure rooms are secure at all times. G. Contractor must field verify any and all measurements encompassed in this project and is solely responsible for their accuracy.
