Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Request for Applications (RFA) is published to solicit applications for the provision of medical expertise to assist the Office of Professional Licensure and Certification (OPLC) staff with investigations in areas that include, but are not limited to: • Malpractice. • Incompetence. • Unprofessional conduct. • Consumer complaints. The OPLC anticipates awarding one (1) or more contract(s) for the services in this RFA in order to develop of list of experts in specific specialties, with preference given to: • Orthopedic Surgeons; • Urologists; and • Hospitalists. The selected vendors must assist and work with the OPLC staff by providing expert consulting services in the specific area of medicine to ensure thorough investigations of quality of care issues including, but not limited to: Malpractice lawsuits. Matters of incompetence. Unprofessional conduct allegations. Consumer complaints.
