Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this RFP, EOHHS is soliciting proposals for one qualified Family Engagement Organization (FEO) to, in partnership with the agency, hire and support a Lead Family Coordinator – a key member of the SOC Interagency Working Group (IWG) responsible for carrying out grant activities. Aligned with EOHHS’ commitment to equity and as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) standards, the vendor must ensure equal access to services. This includes ensuring access for people with disabilities, including those who are Deaf/deaf or hard of hearing, or others who require other accessibility supports, as well as individuals who best communicate in a language other than English. The Vendor must also incorporate programming and policies that seek to eliminate disparities, address institutional and structural racism, and aim to improve the health of Rhode Island’s BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities throughout Tasks 1 through 4 outlined in this section.
