Specifications include, but are not limited to: The signals shall be installed, operational, and with no traffic restrictions by June 1, 2023. All work on the project except landscaping shall be completed by August 31, 2023. In the event that materials are not available by June 1, 2023, the contractor will be required to install temporary signals (wood poles with span wires). The contractor shall be required to show correspondence with suppliers to show a good faith effort to obtain all the permanent materials to meet the completion date of June 1, 2023. Working days will be charged as provided for in the Standard Specifications, once the work order is issued. Liquidated damages in the amount of $1,000 per day shall apply to each date listed above. The non-availability of material shall not prevent working days from being assessed.
