Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall perform structural repairs as prescribed in the construction documents. This includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of grating; removal, replacement of structural steel elements; and repairs of existing structural steel elements. Contractor shall apply protective coating to all members and elements as described in the construction documents. Work windows shall be required around AML cargo schedules as well as potentially seasonal products. It is anticipated 2-3 weekly with approximately 2 or 5 day windows on alternating weeks. It is critical that the barge slip remain operational for barge operations. Contractor shall communicate with Owner to coordinate work phasing that ensures no interruption or delay to barge service. Contractor shall be required to coordinate work activities with ARRC staff including Project/Construction Management, and local facilities staff for operational support and construction windows.
