All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of California Highway Patrol’s (CHP), Keddie Platform Scales, the services described herein: furnish all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary to provide Scale Maintenance Services in accordance with the manufacturer’s preventive maintenance recommendations and the terms set forth in this Agreement. A. License/Certification Requirement: 1) Contractor State Licensing Board: C-61 / D-21 Machinery and Pumps License 2) Certificate of Accuracy traceable to the National Bureau of Standards issued by Los Angeles County Weights and Measures or the State Department of Food and Agriculture, located in Sacramento or Downey. 3) Contractor must be registered in accordance with the California Business and Professions Code, Division 5, Chapter 5.5, and the California Code of Regulations, Title 4, Div. 9, Chapter 1, Article 1, Performance Standard for Scales, as enforced by the Department of Agriculture, Division of Measurement Standard. 4) DIR Registration: Bidders must be registered with the DIR Pursuant to California Labor Code Sections 1770, 1773 and 1773.1.
