Specifications include, but are not limited to: Washington County intends to construct an addition of 232 beds to the existing correctional facility with an addition approximately 36,975 square feet on County owned property located at 1155 W. Clydesdale Drive in Fayetteville, Arkansas. 1. Furnish and install erosion control fences, hay bales, rip rap, stone construction exits and other erosion control devices as shown on the plans and as required by local authorities. This contractor will be responsible for maintaining the erosion control system and will be responsible for removal and disposal at the completion of the project. 2. As required, this scope includes the submission and obtaining the approval of the Storm Water Pollution and Prevention Plan (SWPPP) to the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality including all fees and costs for submission and approval. This Contractor shall complete all documentations including the Notice of Intent and the Notice of Termination to obtain approval and final release. Copies of the Notice of Intent and Notice of Termination must be provided to the Construction Manager for their records. 3. Removal, clearing and disposal of all trees, brush, rubbish, concrete structures and miscellaneous items specified to be demolished and removed from the site except where indicated on the drawings to remain. This includes the grubbing and saw cutting as may be required. 4. Stripping of all topsoil in areas where grading is to occur, stockpile topsoil for re-use and remove excess topsoil from site. At the time designated by the Project Schedule re-spread topsoil that has been stockpiled for this purpose, or import additional topsoil if needed, to establish 4” minimum depth of topsoil cover spread on areas indicated to receive sod, seed and plantings. 5. Compaction of existing in-place soils as required.
