Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this RFP, Merrimack County intends to select a Respondent to enter into a contract to perform upgrades and rehabilitation to the geothermal well system at the Merrimack County Nursing home. 4.2 Inspect each of the sixteen (16) SCW’s. Prepare a tabular list of each sew Recording a minimum of: a. Verify ID well head number of each SCW b. Visual surface condition, written and photograph c. Visual of well pit; cap, wiring, moisture/water drainage, corrosion, written and photograph d. Measure ambient static water level in the Porter Shroud Assembly (PSA) and in the annulus - (not operational) e. With single well pump operational, balance well flow and measure the flow rate, simultaneously measure static level in the annulus and in the PSA. Record the levels and differences. f. Balance both well fields separately. Operating eight (8) wells at a time. g. Prepare a report for each SCW; identify the required rehabilitation and each with other requirements. 5. 5.1 Remove and Cleanup Each SCW identified for rehabilitation. a. Provide Work pits, as required and manage spoils b. Remove well pump. Measure actual depth of well, promptly notify PM if not ~1,500 ft. c. Camera the SCW and analyze/written report resultsd. Removal of pitless adapters, inspect and retain if salvageable e. Removal of PSA and off-site disposal of PVC (as required). Record/note any internal material build up in PSA; retain build-up samples in 1-2 once marked plastic baggies. Mark by well ID and approximate depth at sample location. f. Submit scrubbing and clearing method. g. Scrub casing and bore as needed and clearing to 1,500 ft. depth. Provide off-site disposal of spoils. h. Reinstall PSA, pitless adapters, well pump/motor, rewire to pull box. Replace items as required. i. Operational Pump test on each rehabilitated well; measure and record flow rate, measure and record annulus/shroud differential. j. Refill spoils pit and regrade, reseed by others. 5.2 Reestablish TWO SEPARATE Manifold pairs a. Close temporary cross over between upper and lower manifold pairs b. Rebalance flow rates in upper manifold pair and reset pressures per design. c. Rebalance flow rates in lower manifold pair and reset pressures per design. 5.3 Document Rehab of all Sixteen SCW and prepare report a. Issue documentation to the MCNH for each well as well's rehabilitation. b. Review all finding with PM prior to final report. c. Prepare and deliver a composite final report within six (6) weeks after final well rehab and rebalancing is completed. 5.3 Training a. Revise rehab specifications/methods as noted from experience. b. Provide 6 hours of training to MC Facilities on the operation and preventative maintenance of the Geowell system
