Specifications include, but are not limited to: Red Clay Consolidated School District is planning to utilize ERATE Category II funding to install up to a total of 25 access points in each boiler room at all of our schools utilizing Mist AP45 (or equal) wireless access points and associated CAT6a cabling to connect the access points to the closest wiring closet in each school. The district has predetermined the general locations for the access points. The vendor may submit a proposal to provide the access point hardware AND/OR installation of CAT6a cabling and CAT6a patch panels. Indoor CAT6a cabling is to be green, and the vendor will need to provide a minimum of a 5-foot white CAT6a patch cable to connect the AP to the data drop. The cabling vendor is responsible for the installation, termination, testing, and documentation of all cabling, as well as the mounting of the access points. Each cable must be labeled as per the Red Clay Technology Dept. instructions. Cabling test results must be submitted to the Red Clay technology dept before submitting the invoice for the project. Cabling vendors must be on the State of Delaware approved contract for Data and Voice Structured Cabling, Contract No. GSS21441-DATA_CBL.
