Specifications include, but are not limited to: Red Clay Consolidated School District is planning to utilize ERATE Category II funding to upgradethe network cabling in one section of Mote Elementary. This school section includes multiple classrooms. The vendor will install thirty-six (36) yellow CAT6 data lines for the classroom drops and six (6) green CAT6a data lines to the existing access points in the classrooms and the necessary patch panels required. The vendor will also need to provide a quantity of six (6) ten(10) foot white CAT6a patch cables (non-booted) to connect the existing classroom access points to the new CAT6a drop. This project will also include demo of the classroom's existing drops,which include data, voice, coax, and fiber. Existing lines will be demoed to the IDF in room 110and/or the MDF closet. The existing wall-mounted rack in room 110 will also need to be demoed.A new IDF closet will be utilized for this project's new cabling. Patch cables for the patch panelswill NOT need to be provided by the vendor. Attending a walk-through is highly recommendedfor this project - a copy of the floor plan with drop locations will be provided to vendors during the walk-through. The vendor is responsible for the installation, termination, testing, and documentation. Each cable must be labeled as per the Red Clay Technology Dept. instructions. Cabling test results must be submitted to the Red Clay Technology Dept before submitting the invoice for the project.
