Statement of Work for the purchase a zero-turn front mount riding lawn mower for the Bismarck Plant Materials Center located in Bismarck, North Dakota.
The Bismarck Plant Materials Center is in need of a zero turn lawn mower for ground maintenance and removing residue from fields and study plots.
The mower must be able to be serviced and parts available from a reputable vendor within a 20-mile radius of the Bismarck and Mandan area.
Equipment will be delivered to the Bismarck Plant Materials Center.
Knowledge and research of available zero turn mowers that can provide the required options and can perform the job needed lead us to the recommendation of a Grasshopper 725 DT Zero Turn Mower. Considerations will be given to other brands and models offering similar options and meet or exceed the following requirements.

15 cubic foot volume metal hopper to collect debris
Highlift 15B system or similar highlift system capable of raising and dumping the hopper up to 72 inches high into a trailer or truckbed. Hopper will return to a 34-inch operating height. Hopper operations (unloading ) needs to be done from the operator platform/seat.
Vac drive assembly model 352 or similar. Must be capable of lifting and transporting large volumes of debris from ground to hopper without plugging.
