Specifications include, but are not limited to: The New Hampshire Department of Business and Economic Affairs (BEA) is requesting proposals for a contractor to establish and execute a technical assistance service for project development within the Northern Border counties of Coos, Grafton, Carroll, Belknap, Sullivan and Cheshire for the purpose of identifying community and economic development projects and capacity needs that hinge on unidentified gap funding. The qualified contractor will assist communities with predevelopment strategies, program finance planning and development, and application assistance to various state, federal and private funding programs, in conjunction with the BEA Rural Economic Development Administrator, who will assist with access to existing programs, tools and funding that would be relevant to coordinated project development. Successfully completed, these communities will be equipped to uncover new opportunities for business and economic development. The award of the contract is contingent on approval by the Governor and Executive Council.
