Specifications include, but are not limited to: i) In accordance with Resolution Number 14,896 – Any products and/or services provided to the City must prohibit use of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Foam (commonly referred to by the brand name Styrofoam”) ii) Once awarded the vendor shall start demolition within seventy-two (72) hours. Project shall be completed within five (5) business days. iii) The vendor shall provide proof of a City of Little Rock business license, showing demolition prior to performing any work on this project. iv) The vendor shall ensure that all vehicles used for the transportation of asbestos materials and demolition debris always possess and display the appropriate hauling permit. v) The vendor shall ensure that all demolition debris is fully covered or tarped during transport from the demolition site to the dumpsite. vi) The vendor shall comply with State and Federal regulations, as well as ADEQ, NESHAP, and OSHA regulations during the demolition and disposal process. vii) The vendor shall maintain dust during the demolition by attaching to a fire hydrant or from a water truck with equal water pressure. If attaching to a fire hydrant to achieve this requirement the vendor shall have the following: 1. Permission from Central Arkansas Water Company to connect. 2. The proper size fire hose. 3. Fire hydrant meter obtained from Central Arkansas Water Company for a deposit. viii)The vendor shall contact 411 to ensure all utilities are disconnected ix) The vendor shall not begin work until they have met with a City Official at the site to verify the site location and the description of the work to be performed. x) The vendor shall contact the City Official prior to grading or filling the site. xi) The vendor shall contact the City Official upon completion for a final site inspection. xii) The vendor shall install, construct, repair and maintain erosion and sedimentation items, and install grass seed on each location after demolition of structure. xiii)The vendor shall maintain erosion and sedimentation items until there is an eighty (80) percent growth of vegetation on site. xiv) The vendor shall perform an interior inspection of the property immediately before demolition.
