Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Retrofit existing counter to accommodate new level 3 ballistic glass windows. B. Install new level 3 ballistic glass panels and matching level 3 ballistic framing on counter in lobby, transoms, and door sidelight. Anchor and support per manufacturer instructions. C. Install new level 3 bullet resistant door and frame, stain door and paint frame to match existing. D. Install new electronic door device, including a keypad and electronic door latch release. E. Install new stainless-steel bullet resistant pass-through trays at the openings in the counter and speak holes with ballistic glass backers in the glass panels. F. Supply power from under the counter to the speakers. G. Install Kevlar sheeting around entire lobby counter and interior partition walls to prevent bullet penetration. Install Gypsum Wall Board (GWB) and restore any custom finishes to match existing. H. Finish the front face of the new counter walls to match existing. I. Touch up wall paint and replace acoustic ceiling panels as required. J. Contractor will ensure that the work area is kept clean and free of debris, as necessary, to maintain a safe working environment for staff. All debris, trash and packaging is to be disposed of off-site daily. K. All materials to be warrantied as per the manufacturer’s warranty. Contractor to provide a one-year warranty on their workmanship. L. Contractor will provide detailed shop drawings for CHP to review prior to fabrication and construction. M. All work shall be in compliance with the 2010 Americans with Disabilities Act Standards for Accessible Design, 2019 California Title 24, and Title 19 CCR, Public Safety and State Fire Marshall Regulations.
