Specifications include, but are not limited to: New Castle County, Delaware (hereinafter “NCC”) through its Department of Community Services Healthy Homes Production Grant Program is soliciting competitive sealed proposals to contract the professional services of Radon Testing and Remediation to provide all labor and materials to perform various radon diagnostic tests, mitigation installations and repair tasks as may be required, including but not limited to the installation and repairs of components related to radon mitigation systems at various homes throughout with reports, specification/scope of work preparation, price estimates and clearances for 130 pre-qualified homes located within New Castle County. The goal is to assist NCC in undertaking a comprehensive program to identify and control radon poisoning in 130 eligible privately-owned rental or owner-occupied homes/units over a three-year period. The program will complete an estimated four (4) units per month. It is the intent to multi-award these professional services to a maximum of three (3) firms.
