Specifications include, but are not limited to: In accordance with A.R.S. §41-2534, the Arizona Department of Economic Security (ADES) is requesting sealed proposals from qualified vendors for SSBG Supportive Intervention and Guidance Counseling Services for Pima County. The purpose is to provide Supportive Intervention and Guidance Counseling Services in Pima County for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, hereafter referred to as “Consumer(s)”. The Contractor shall: 4.1 Provide culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate services to the target population. 4.2 Communicate, either directly or through the assistance of professional interpreting services, in the native language of applicants/Consumers who have limited speaking ability or whose primary language is not English and use all other appropriate and effective modes of communications used by applicants/Consumers (e.g. Spanish and American Sign Language, etc.). 4.3 Make reasonable accommodations related to both service location and service provision under the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, as amended, (a wheelchair accessible location, enlarged print, etc.) to allow a person with a disability to receive the services. 4.4 Provide marketing and outreach in the community to ensure this service is reaching its intended target population. 4.5 Determine and verify all Consumers meet the eligibility requirements specified in Section 3.3 before rendering services.
