Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) the Department of Public Safety (hereinafter the “State”) is seeking to establish contracts with one or more companies that can provide Regional Dispatch Technical Consulting. The consultant will provide Regional Dispatch Centers with information about existing State assets/infrastructure, and they will make recommendations on redundancy to ensure appropriate failover. The consultant will: a. Provide technical resources and advise Regional Dispatch Centers on a communications ecosystem by leveraging existing state assets. b. Assess infrastructure capabilities. c. Ensure appropriate redundancy and fail over in a fiscally responsible manner. d. Prioritize, identify, and provide recommendations on bringing Regional Dispatch Center online in a strategic and responsible manner.
