Specifications include, but are not limited to: The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection is soliciting bids for the Rehabilitation Environmental Action Plan (REAP) Pollution Prevention Open Dump Program (PPOD), to establish an open-end contract for removal of illegal open dumps and waste tire piles for the Eastern Region of West Virginia. The Vendor(s) shall provide all services to properly remove illegal open dumps and waste tire piles of varying size throughout the eastern PPOD district. All solid waste within the prescribed boundaries will be removed from the site and hauled directly to an approved landfill facility, recycling center, tire mono-fill, or licensed salvage yard. The vendor will recycle all metals and appliances removed from the site unless otherwise directed.
