Specifications include, but are not limited to: Santa Fe Community College invites proposals from qualified design professionals to provide professional design services for exterior renovation and improvements. Renovation and improvement scope will include exterior walls, stucco, concrete, masonry and ADA site conditions. 1.1.1. The contractor shall be an architect or firm which will provide construction documents to include schematic design, design development, support during Request for Proposal (RFP) process to respond to questions and construction period services for renovation and improvement of SFCC’s stucco, exterior ADA and site conditions at SFCC’s Main Campus. The scope of services include, but are not limited to the following: 1.1.1.1. Review and verification of existing conditions and deficiencies identified during the 2021 Master Plan and 2020 Master Roof Plan: -Address all damaged and failing stucco on exterior walls, parapets, Penthouses, and roof ledges -Address overall exterior stucco wall renovation needs -Address site concrete, walls, stucco, and masonry in poor condition or in need of renovation -Address site conditions not compliant with ADA 1.1.1.2. Development of drawings and specifications for repairs and renovation. -Reducing or eliminating water intrusion into buildings should be prioritized. -Trees, shrubs, and other planting should be preserved wherever possible. -Materials and processes should be sustainable. 1.1.1.3. Development of cost estimates, value-engineering recommendations, and phasing structure. 1.1.1.4. Assistance in preparing documents for NMHED project approval and other governing bodies if necessary. 1.1.1.5. Securement of necessary permits, assistance with construction bidding, contractor selection, and construction adminstration.
