Specifications include, but are not limited to: The STATE is conducting this solicitation on behalf of the NDCWB’s to establish a vendor to provide noxious weed mapping equipment and services to track noxious weed control. The goal is to mitigate the risk of spreading North Dakota noxious weeds; and to protect public and private lands from introduction of non-native, invasive plant species by recreationalists and other land users. The order quantities are unknown, though there appears to be enough budget for each of the 53 counties to purchase a unit. Quantities may significantly exceed this though as counties may choose to purchase additional units and other qualifying entities as outlined in section 3, item 2 may choose to purchase off the contract. The successful bidder will be required to provide installation of the noxious weed mapping equipment on to desired equipment for each ordering agency to achieve the primary objective of this project. Bid prices shall include installation and installation expenses the successful bidder may incur. In-field training must be provided and shall not exceed 2 hours per unit sold. Bid prices shall include the cost of in-field training.
