Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Bidders to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment. Locations have been identified by the State Fair’s Plant Manager, see maps included in bid package. Maps are labeled Unit 1-11, bid each unit including price and quantities. • Bid all units as minimum 2” of milling with 2” of overlay. • Asphalt shall not be relayed over wet subsurface; surface shall be dry and firm prior to placement. • Compact pavement by rolling. Do not displace or extrude pavement from position. Hand compact in areas inaccessible to rolling equipment. • Develop rolling with consecutive passes to achieve even and smooth finish, without roller marks. • Clean-up will need to be daily upon completion of the work, contractor shall clean all areas affected by this portion of the contract to the owner’s satisfaction. • Hot mix will be HMA Commercial Grade (Class A) with no more than 25% RAP. • Any patching or base replacement will be handled as a Change Order. • Traffic Control is bidders’ responsibility to provide barricades / cones for work areas.
