Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Official Police Light & Medium Duty Towing Defined: Official Police Light and Medium Duty Towing means the act of towing light (GVWR 9,000-15,000 pounds) and medium (GVWR 15,001-33,000 pounds) duty vehicles for compensation within the City of Bentonville at the request of the Bentonville Police Department, a citizen asking the BPD for a recommended tow service, or by a person involved in a vehicular accident to which BPD responds. The Official Light and Medium Duty Towing shall include the storing of vehicles and all other services performed incident to towing. All storing facilities or locations proposed for services for the City of Bentonville shall be compliant with Appendix A and this RFP Document.
