Specifications include, but are not limited to: Douglas County School District (Omaha Public Schools) (“OPS” or “District”) invites qualified suppliers to submit bids to furnish to OPS a Key Management System; The Security Management System included with the Product must secure, track, and manage the keys for a fleet of its vehicles. The secure key cabinet should provide full control of access and tracking of vehicle keys. Each key should have its own sealed compartment within the secure system cabinet and can only be accessed by using an identification process. This process should consist of biometrics, RFID card, or through username and password. Users shall be pre-authorized to access both specific cabinet and each drawer. The Security Management System shall collect and allow authorized OPS personnel to receive real-time data on who has taken which keys, when, and for what purpose. A. The cabinet and the Security Management System must accommodate and manage a minimum of 300 keys. This may be provided in multiple secure drawers or enclosed secure housing areas. The control system for the cabinet and key compartment access shall track, as a minimum, the following: the key compartment being accessed, identity of the person accessing the key compartment, the date and time of access, the date and time the key was returned to the key compartment and the person returning the key.
