Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor will furnish a dedicated team of Kansas Registered Pharmacists from a centralized location to provide tele-pharmacy services when the hospital pharmacy is closed. Hours of coverage will be from 4:30pm thru 8:00am Monday thru Friday, from 4:30pm Friday thru 8:00am Monday, and 24 hours on Holidays. The hospital pharmacy’s current business hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, excluding holidays. Tele-pharmacy services include verification of medication orders, discontinuation of medication orders, clarification of medication orders, answering medication related questions from hospital staff, and visual identification of medication prior to administration. Contractor will provide two forms of reliably contacting the pharmacist providing tele-pharmacy services, preferably a direct phone number and email. Contractor will provide a detailed hand off between the contractor pharmacist and hospital pharmacist
