Specifications include, but are not limited to: The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT, Department or Agency) is requesting proposals from qualified Offerors to provide Scoping Report, Phase I-C & Phase I-D, Location and Topographic mapping, Drainage services, Geotechnical Engineering and Exploration, Bridge Type Selection Report, Pavement Exploration, and Subsurface Utility Engineering for the Interstate 40 bridge #6502. This work will be performed as project specific. Existing Conditions: Bridge #6502 is located on Interstate 40 (I-40) at MP 8.4 in McKinley County at the intersection of I-40 and NM 118. NMDOT District 6 has identified the need to address truck clearance on NM 118 at I-40. It is the intent of the NMDOT to acquire a detailed Scoping Report and Bridge Type Selection Report that will determine a preferred option for bridge #6502. The Scoping and Bridge Reports shall be in conjunction with the Phase I-A/B report that will be complete by the NMDOT in the fall of 2023. Other items within this RFP include Phase I-C and Phase I-D. Upon completion of Phase I-D, the NMDOT may elect to proceed to final design (Phase II) and construction services (Phase III) through a contract amendment.
