Specifications include, but are not limited to: MPA 604 OE Training and Technical Assistance Services; Task Categories: 1. Product Development and Refinement 2. Direct Training 3. Technical Assistance Task Category 1 - Product Development – Refers to development of training curricula and/or adaptation of existing curricula into a variety of formats o Online o Webinars o Face-to-face training o Blended learning models combining face-to-face and online training o Training of Trainers (TOT); and o Other formats Task Category 2 - Direct Training – Provision of direct training based on priority topics/foci identified by the Department. Training may be comprised of a variety of formats, including but not limited to: o Blended learning models combining face-to-face and online training o Online o Face-to-face training o Training of Trainers: and o Other formats Delivery of direct training may include the administration of evaluation tools and consolidation of data collected from those tools developed by the state agency contracting with the vendor. Task Category 3 - Technical Assistance (TA)–includes more formalized assistance/consultation delivered to state agency staff, multiple or individual service providers, or individual practitioners or other people serving BHDDH’s priority populations. TA will supplement and support capacity building, skill building and implementation of evidence-based and best practices. Technical assistance may be delivered through a variety of approaches including but not limited to: o Face-to-face, o Virtual platforms, o Telephonic/electronic and o Group TA models such as learning collaboratives or communities of practices that may be delivered face to face and/or virtually. TA may also include administration of scholarship programs for the workforce to attend specific training and conferences. BHDDH will work with vendors to prioritize recipient populations, training topics and events. Delivery of direct technical assistance may include the administration of evaluation tools and consolidation of data collected from those tools developed by the state agency contracting with the vendor.
