The intent is to have the system completely replaced and updated with new piping, valves, pumps, manifolds, and controls. Products Replace with the existing brand 100,000 BTU or Well McClain Gold. Use a Beckett burner with a Tiger Loop. Replace zone values, replace existing water heater with a 50-gallon electric water heater. Eliminate the heat exchanger and pump for the water heater. Use Grundfos pumps sized correctly for the applications. Remove existing heat manifold and replace with flow meter and balancing values manifold, replace flue pipe, reuse glycol makeup tank, and fill the system with glycol at a 50/50 mix. Select a replacement boiler that is well suited for glycol-filled system.
