Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS), Division of Public Health (DPH) seeks professional services to provide Medical Assessment and Care Services to HIV/AIDS Clients. To provide HIV/AIDS services to eligible populations in Delaware by achieving the following goals: • Reducing the number of new patients entering into care who are already AIDSdefined. • Increasing access to primary health care and increasing utilization to the underserved by establishing clinical services in faith-based organizations. • Providing quality health care to HIV clients in a culturally competent, patient centered, community-based setting. • Increasing patient understanding regarding HIV infection and self-care. This will increase client participation in health care decisions.
