Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Alaska, Department of Administration, Officeof Procurement and Property Management (OPPM), and Department of Environmental Conservation, Division of Air Quality, is soliciting quotes for a NIST traceable primary flow standard and calibrator. The quote must include annual pricing for NIST traceable recertification of instruments and flow cells for three years. This unit must be capable of measuring highly accurate flow rates of inert gases from 0.5 standard cubic centimeters per minute (SCCM) to 50,000 SCCM. Accuracy must be at least ± 0.25% or ± 0.002 SCCM at flow rates below 50 SCCM, and at least ± 0.15% at flow rates from 50 SCCM to 50,000 SCCM. Metal corrosion-resistant fittings will be supplied to allow connection to common tubing sizes between 1/8 inch and 1/2 inch in diameter as appropriate. A digital readout with input by touchscreen or buttons is required. Internal data logging, averaging of flow measurements, and at least one method of digital data retrieval and communications to a computer, such as USB, are also required. The instrument must be portable, and capable of normal transportation without the need to perform factory recertification or calibration. As such, a hard-sided shipping/transportation case should be supplied. Power should be supplied via 120-volt standard power sources with or without a DC converter. The instrument shall have an operating temperature range of 15-30 degrees Celsius or greater. An internal battery and software for external data manipulation are preferred.
