Combined Synopsis/Solicitation

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
(ii) To facilitate electronic quote submissions through beta.SAM Contract Opportunities, a request for quote (RFQ No. 140R3021Q0037) is being issued subsequent to this combined solicitation/synopsis.
(iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2021-05 dated 10 March 2021.
(iv) This requirement is a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: 33413 The small business size standard for NAICS Code 33413 is 500 employees.
(v) Line item 0001 - Four each (4ea) carbon dust collection systems for four generators units, onsite technical support, and commissioning, testing and post-award technical support. The Statement of Work (SOW) provides more detailed information about the requirement and is attached to the RFQ.
(vi) The Bureau of Reclamation, Interior Region 8: Lower Colorado Basin has a requirement for the design and manufacturing of carbon dust collection systems for each of Parker Dam's four generator units.
(vii) Work must begin on or about 08/15/2021. All work must be completed by 04/30/2022. Work must be completed at vendor's location.
