Specifications include, but are not limited to: Your firm is invited to submit a proposal to the Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife to conduct an analysis of black bear habitat use and movements, and assess relationships to the construction and operation of wind turbines. Preference will be given to vendors with extensive demonstrated experience in individual and population level resource selection functions at multiple spatial scales (first order to third order), specifically those with experience in used-available study designs, step selection functions, and accounting for pseudoreplicated and autocorrelated data. Experience with black bear ecology and integrating animal movement with habitat use (e.g. integrated step selection functions), as well as effects of human development or activity on wildlife, is preferred. • Data analysis design, • Summary of data processing and compiling, • A priori tests of model specifications and assumptions, • Final model outputs, • Final written report of findings, • Any additional technical support or assistance required to complete the project. • Additional analysis of data, as the timeframe and budget allows
