All roofs must be inspected by the Community Development Inspector after the roofing materials have been removed down to the decking. All damage decking must be inspected and replaced. The Contractor acknowledges to remove from site all construction materials, tools and debris. Sweep clean all exterior work areas. Vacuum all interior work areas, removing all visible dust, stains, labels and tags. Clean all windows referenced in specifications. Trim all overgrowth -roof line : trim all dead, decaying, damaged and overgrown plants, shrubs and trees, to provide safety and an attractive appearance. Remove 50% of the tree limb length that overhangs any structure. Remove all debris and rake clean. CLEAR ROOF LINE; Remove and dispose of all roofing and defective sheathing. Synthetic felt and plastic cap fasteners. install ice and water shields in all valleys. Install preformed aluminum, drip edge and vent pipe boots. Install metal flashing around chimneys and metal wall flashing to prevent water intrusion, seal and caulk. Install a 220 lb fiberglass asphalt 3 tab shingle with a 25 year warranty. Replace all flashing pipe vents and install turbines. Labor will require 5 year warranty on roof
