Specifications include, but are not limited to: Victim Safety Planning: including safety preservations skills and seeking orders of protection or restraining orders. Improve victim’s safety planning on all types of crimes; especially in regard to victims of sex relation crimes, and domestic abuse with priority to victims of offenders being supervised by Probation/Parole. 2. Referral/case management services. 3. Information and referral services for sexual assault victims, families, secondary victims 4. Develop ongoing training for DOC staff regarding RI-VINE, victim rights. 5. Informational and training sessions for law enforcement. 6. The OVS will help coordinate the automated victim notification system RIVINE and Victims Portal to provide personal assistance to individuals utilizing the systems.
