Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Omaha has created this supplemental specification to provide additional requirements for vendors providing traffic signal cabinets to the City of Omaha. This Supplemental agreement was created as City staff evaluated custom language for the Omaha traffic signal cabinets as it related specifically to Chapter 6 of the Caltrans’ TEES 2009 Specifications. The City has created the Traffic Division Special Provisions, and Traffic Signal Cabinet Supplemental Specifications and Omaha Standard Plates. The Vendor shall provide a unit price for an Omaha-style 332L and 336L cabinet. The unit price shall be guaranteed for one year from the execution of the contract. Upon mutual agreement by the City and Vendor, the contract, with the same unit price, may be extended three (3) additional one-year intervals. The City anticipates purchasing approximately 100 cabinets in the first year, with up to 100 (or more) cabinets in each subsequent year. However, quantities are not guaranteed. The 332L and 336L Omaha Traffic Signal cabinet shall be complete and a functional traffic signal cabinet that meets the standards listed in the contract documents. The Cabinet shall be fully equipped and ready for City acceptance testing with minor modifications. The City reserves the right to make a no-cost modification to the specification (such as cabinet layout) based upon inspection of the cabinets in the initial order which will be applied to subsequent cabinet orders. The selected vendor shall provide cabinet training once delivery of first cabinet order is made. The training shall consist of a cabinet functionality overview and specific training on all cabinet components. The training is expected to include (but not limited to): Cabinet Overview Cabinet Operations Conflict Monitor Operations Flashing Yellow Arrow Operations Red Monitoring Fiber Optic Cable Fiber Distribution Unit Network Switches 120v Monitored Power Strip
