Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lamar Consolidated Independent School District intends to select Engineering firms to perform Civil, Geotechnical, MEPT, Structural, Traffic, Material Testing, Mechanical Testing and Balancing, Commissioning and other design & testing services for select items from the Bond 2022 Program. The Engineer firm must maintain professional liability or errors and omissions insurance in a minimum amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence during the term of the project, as required by Texas Government Code Section 2269.208. As required by law, the selection of an Engineer will be made on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications in accordance with Texas Government Code sections 2254.004 and 2269.201. A committee will review all Statements of Qualifications received by the deadline, evaluate each firm’s experience, technical competence, capability to perform, past performance, references and other relevant factors submitted in response to this Request for Qualifications, as per the “Evaluation Criteria” rubric included below. Lamar CISD reserves the right to waive any irregularities and informalities and make any decision that they judge is in the best interest of Lamar CISD. Respondents are requested NOT to discuss the RFQ with the evaluation team or members of the Board of Trustees. All questions or clarifications needed should be addressed to the Lamar CISD Purchasing Department contact person noted on page two (2) of this document or as revised through official addendum of this RFQ. Per Texas Government Code Section 2254.004.(1), no competitive pricing information may be submitted, and none will be sought.
