Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Topeka is seeking the services of contractor of trade services for an hourly time basis. The services include, but are not limited to, installation or repair of industrial electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, masonry, painting, and plumbing. This includes labor, equipment, and interconnection work. Services are roughly defined within the electrical, mechanical/HVAC, carpentry, concrete, painting, and plumbing trades. The services are to be performed to the standards and codes regulating the appropriate trades. All work must be compliant with city code and will be inspected by the City of Topeka. Electrical services include instrumentation connection and conduits, motor and facilities control with operating voltages from 24vdc to 12.47kvac. Mechanical systems include HVAC, pumps, blowers and sheet metal work. Plumbing includes boiler piping, process piping from ¼ inch to 48 inch. Material includes copper, PVC, stainless steel, steel, and ductile iron. Concrete services include, but not limited to, flat work, sidewalks, curbs, building flooring, and retaining walls. To be installed per industry standards for tie in, depth, mixes and grades. Contractor may be required to supply sample of mixtures and grades for testing by the City’s engineering department. Carpentry (General Construction) services include, but not limited, to installation and removal of windows, drywall, as well as, drywall finish, wood and steel stud framing, door install and adjustments. Painting services include painting walls of common areas and hallways stairwells, railings, and acoustic ceiling tiles, bollards, flagpoles, trim painting, drywall repair, caulking and sealing.
