Specifications include, but are not limited to: : The City of Topeka is requesting bids on the following items to include freight costs. These apparel items shall be purchased on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly schedule. Bid prices shall reflect accurate pricing per unit regardless of the quantity purchased per order and the cost per garment for screen printing. These specifications are intended to provide the establishment of a contract for Heavy Outdoor Clothing and Outerwear.; Bidders shall furnish current catalogs that show current MSRP listings. Successful bidders will be required to provide as many catalogs and MSRP listings as needed by City Departments, or provide an online link to the same. A. Bidders shall clearly denote items that are considered “core” products within each product line. Bidders shall clearly denote which items are seasonal and subject to delayed delivery during certain times of the calendar year. B. Prices/Multiplier: The bidder shall furnish on the Invitation to Bid the multiplier or discount from manufacturer’s current published list price. Bidders must furnish the current manufacturer’s MSRP price list with the bidding documents. Throughout the term of the contract and any renewal periods, the successful bidder must furnish new/revised manufacturer’s pricing lists at least fifteen (15) days prior to the renewal effective date. All bid prices/multiplier/discount from the pricing lists shall be FOB Destination, Prepaid and Allowed, and must remain firm and fixed throughout the term of the contract, including the optional renewal periods. The City of Topeka is tax exempt on all purchases. C. Estimated Annual Quantity: The estimated annual volume generated by this contract is $20,000.00. This volume is an estimate only, thus the City may purchase on an annual basis less or more than $20,000.00 worth of products. The City reserves the right to decrease or increase estimated annual quantities dependent on actual needs. D. Embroidery, Patches and Logos (see Appendix A on page 4): The successful bidder shall offer custom embroidery, and the sewing of patches and logos on garments purchased from the resulting contract. Bidder’s shall enumerate prices for these services where indicated on the pricing response form. The ability to offer embroidery and sewing services is a requirement and will be a determining factor in the evaluation of bid submittals.
