Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Commission is now seeking a qualified and experienced professional company to provide curbside porter services, to assist with getting baggage from the curbside to the inside airline ticket counter, with an optional TSA directional support service position to assist with an expedient experience at the TSA checkpoint at the Airport. A. Provide exceptional service to the passengers and general public at the Airport while staying within the Airport’s approved operating budget B. Provide adequate coverage as to not allow any lapse in coverage of personnel during service hours C. Track and increase the number of customers assisted each month D. Provide directional support at the security checkpoint to encourage and assist with a positive customer experience. . Curbside Baggage Assistance i. The Company must provide curbside baggage porters that will be dedicated to the curbside baggage assistance service. a. The Company-provided curbside baggage porters must solicit from its assigned duty locations b. The Company-provided curbside baggage porters must not solicit customers in the parking lots or other public areas of the Airport. c. The Company-provided curbside baggage porters shall not be multi-tasked with other duties such as wheelchair support to gates. d. The curbside baggage porters must only accompany the passenger(s) with bags from the curb to the inside airline ticket counter. e. The curbside baggage porters must keep the customer and baggage together. f. The curbside baggage porters must not accept responsibility for the customers’ baggage. g. The curbside baggage porters must not solicit tips; however, tips can be accepted. h. The curbside baggage porters must possess exceptional communication skills to interact with the public, give directions and respond to inquiries. i. The curbside baggage porters must be able to stoop and lift baggage (typically not more than 75 pounds). ii. The Company must provide, on or before the tenth (10th) day of each month, a report detailing the number of bags handled by the service the for the previous month. iii. The Company must make efforts to maintain and increase the number of passengers assisted by the services, as described in this solicitation.
