Specifications include, but are not limited to: NDSU Dining is looking for a planning consultant to provide an analysis of our Memorial Union Dining operations. It currently has a traditional all you care to eat dining center and a food court with 6 retail kiosks. We are looking for assistance in the following areas: Analyze and modify meal plan structure for entire dining program, specifically how the retail space could include block plans, declining balance and/or Dining dollars with in-house retail and national brands. Ability to provide online and pre-ordering with staging sites for the ordering and the pickup to improve the student and customer dining experience. Help reduce the staffing needs and improve operational efficiencies including customer flow through the space (post COVID must haves) Assist with transforming our traditional dining center space and food court to create an optimal mix of in-house and national brands to best serve the campus community. The consultant would help us improve the student and customer experience, improve efficiencies for staff to reduce staffing levels, improve meal plan options and pricing to ensure a high level of student/customer acceptance. NDSU Dining would consider the recommendations and feedback when planning the facility remodel and programming with completion for fall 2024.
