Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Health, Division of Behavior Health, is soliciting proposals for qualified offerors to coordinate a virtual 3 day Substance Use Disorder (SUD)/Behavioral Health Conference that will feature both National and local presenters/trainers, which will result in attendees earning Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) that will enable help them to achieve local certification via the ACBHC (Alaska Commission for Behavioral Health Certification) and national certification via NAADAC (the National Association of Addiction Professionals). The goal is to promote provider competency in providing SUD/Behavioral Health services across the State and to expand the behavioral health workforce. 1) Plan and coordinate a virtual 3-day conference with qualified presenters/trainers. 2) Ensure that all sessions are approved for CEU’s by the ACBHC and NAADAC. 3) Solicit Suggestions from various behavioral health organizations for preferred topics of interest. 4) Set up a website with information about the conference and for registration. 5) Provide scholarships to some attendees.
