Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by Kansas City Board of Public Utilities (“Purchaser”) is for: The Board of Public Utilities (BPU) seeks proposals from engineering firms to provide the services of qualified, properly licensed consultants with expertise in all areas of civil, structural, mechanical, architectural, geotechnical and electrical engineering consulting services for improvements to the Water Treatment and Distribution system. It is anticipated that selected firms will provide engineering consulting services for projects described herein with additional projects that are unknown at the time of the writing of this RFP. BPU will select a minimum of two firms to provide such services. Consultants may be assigned various projects and tasks, as may arise, based on the services required; the qualifications and resources of the Consultants for the project; schedule for completion and the hours/cost to complete the engineering work.
