Specifications include, but are not limited to: This bid for contract is to establish purchasing contracts with vendors for Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) law enforcement aircraft completions, mission equipment outfitting, aircraft updates and modifications, video downlink operations and infrastructure, and support and training for the systems purchased or utilized. A. The KHP will be completing but not limited to one (1) Airbus H125 helicopter, and one (1) Cessna Caravan EX with law enforcement equipment, including video downlink equipment. Additional aircraft completions, aircraft updates/modifications, downlink systems- including ground receive infrastructure, and support for those systems may be needed and purchased in the future using the purchasing contracts established by this bid. B. The KHP will reserve the right to award to multiple vendors who meet the minimum qualifications set for in this document, in the best interest of the KHP. C. Due to the specialized nature of these projects, pricing will be done by quote for the specific services or support that KHP requires. D. Additional services and support offered by the successful bidder(s) not specified in the bid specifications may be purchased from the bidder(s) by KHP under these purchasing contracts if the successful bidder(s) meet the minimum qualifications.
