Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project is more specifically defined in the Contract Documents, but generally includes the following items of work: Furnish and maintain traffic control throughout the period of construction; maintain pedestrian barricades and detour pedestrian traffic around the work area; demolish and dispose of existing improvements including asphalt pavement, curb, gutter, sidewalk, curb access ramp, medians and traffic islands; construct protected intersection improvements, modify existing traffic signals, remove right turn slip lanes, upgrade existing curb access ramp, place hot mix asphalt concrete pavement, slurry seal, install striping and pavement markings. There may be other items of work not mentioned above that are shown on the plans and required by the State Standard Specifications and/or the Special Provisions.
