Specifications include, but are not limited to: Carson City is accepting bids for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the Communications Center UPS Replacement Project. The project consists of architectural demolition of existing walls, doors, and ceilings; demolition of existing rooftop HVAC unit, installation of contractor furnished HVAC; demolition of existing plumbing systems; demolition of existing UPS units, bypass switches, above ground raceway systems; installation of City furnished UPS units and contractor furnished accessories and panelboards. The project also includes completion of electrical systems testing, commissioning, and an overcurrent protective device coordination study. 1. Architectural demolition and modifications of existing walls, doors, and ceilings. 2. Demolition of existing rooftop HVAC unit. 3. Installation of contractor furnished HVAC. 4. Demolition of existing plumbing systems. 5. Demolition of existing UPS units and bypass switches. 6. Demolition of above ground raceway systems. 7. Installation of contractor furnished UPS units and accessories. 8. Installation of contractor furnished panelboards. 9. Electrical Systems testing and commissioning. 10. Overcurrent protective device coordination study. The Contractor shall install an owner provided paralleled three-phase continuous duty, on-line, double conversion, solid-state uninterruptible power system, hereafter referred to as the UPS. The UPS shall operate in conjunction with the existing building electrical system to provide power conditioning, back-up and distribution for critical electrical loads. The City will be furnishing two (2) Eaton 9355 Power Arrays (Eaton part no. KB3013100000010) and one (1) Powerware maintenance bypass panel and bypass switch (Eaton part no. 124100028-001)
