Specifications include, but are not limited to: Equipment will be rented by the hour and must meet the following specifications • Respond to a call out within 24 hours. • Roads we will use this contract on will be major roads in the core of Fairbanks and/or North Pole “as directed by the District Superintendent’. • 12 hour shifts will be required. Most of our snow hauling is done on Night Shift but rarely some may be done on Days. Shift determined by traffic volume. • Minimum of 4 each side dumps with operator for standard usage, a total of 6 maybe requested in an emergency. In order to be considered responsive 6 side dumps with operators must be available for any call out. • Equipment to be rented “wet”. Hourly price shall include all labor, fuel, maintenance, and any other cost associated with operation. • Equipment must have a 20-24 CY capacity. • Operators must have two (2) years’ experience.
