Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Protective Clothing & Operational Supplies Rental Services. Bids must address all of the services described in Exhibit A entitled, “Scope of Work” that is included in the Proposed Agreement Forms/Exhibits section of this IFB. Exhibit A contains a detailed description of the services and work to be performed, as a result of this IFB including those terms in the referenced exhibits. Shop Jacket, Uniform Style; Shop Jacket, Uniform Style 3XL; Shop Jacket, Women; Shirt, Uniform Style, Short Sleeve; Shirt; Uniform Style, Short Sleeve 3XL; Shirt, Women Uniform Style, Short Sleeve; Shirt, Uniform Style, Long Sleeve; Shirt, Uniform Style, Long Sleeve 3XL; Trouser, Uniform Style SCOPE OF WORK 1. It is understood by both parties that the first month of the agreement will be for the transition of services, specifically for initial set-up to include the sizing and fitting of employees uniforms. During this period Contractor acknowledges that only initial set-up fees may be billed during this time, if applicable. Actual rental and laundering services shall commence the following month. 2. Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) Otay Mesa Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility (C.V.E.F.), the services described herein: furnish all protective clothing and operational supplies, personnel, labor (including, but not limited to, the pick-up and delivery of goods), materials, tools, equipment, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, and all other costs associated with the work to be performed in accordance with this Agreement.
